  3. Stanley, thanks for stopping by. I believe a small business must do two things – have a website and monitor and optimize their google place page. The website needs to be easy for them to use so they can deliver fresh content every week. That may mean writing one blog article or uploading a video about a service they offer, but what it comes down to is creating a website that is meaningful to their customers, if they do this then they will not need to worry so much about SEO and Google changes because they will be delivering quality content which Google loves. Of course the website needs to be set up correctly to put proper SEO practices in place which is why I recommend WordPress and a handful of plugins for SEO purposes.
